Welcome to the Root PTA!

Our mission is to help Root be a place where all children can learn and thrive. Our goals this year (2026-2027) are to improve parental and teacher engagement, and to increase transparency as it relates to the PTA.

We are a local group, comprised of Root parents/guardians, teachers, staff and community partners, and a part of the PTA North Carolina Congress.

Root Family Dinner - Tuesday, September 15 - Enjoy dinner with your school family!
Teacher Work Day - Monday, September 21 - No School
Open House/General PTA Meeting - Thursday, September 24 - 5:30-7:00pm - Drop in to learn about the year ahead with your child's teacher and catch the first PTA meeting of the year.
Two Roosters Spirit Night - Wednesday, September 30 - Stop in to Two Roosters to cool off with a sweet treat while supporting Root!
